Digital Sales Representative

Owns full-cycle digital sales and account growth for nonprofit and social-impact customers in the UK, using technical solution selling to drive new revenue, renewals, upsells, and retention. Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand customer accounts within Twilio.org’s self-service and named-account customer segments across social services, healthcare, NGOs, humanitarian aid, credit unions, and other nonprofit organizations.
  • Understand customer business and technical requirements and design solutions using Twilio’s communications API platform.
  • Manage full sales cycles and own a book of business, closing new revenue, protecting revenue, and driving upsells and cross-sells.
  • Execute programmable sales plays to deliver revenue, gross margin, and gross profit results.
  • Partner with Sales, Sales Development, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Support teams on renewals, customer requirements, communication strategies, and platform adoption.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Execute automation strategies to serve a high volume of customers while maintaining NPS and preventing churn.
  • Drive deals forward, remove obstacles, recommend customer solutions, and improve team processes.
  • Develop expertise in the social impact and nonprofit market.
  • Explain complex technical and financial details clearly to customers and stakeholders.
  • Manage competing priorities and multiple projects or deals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales, marketing, and/or operations experience in a technical SaaS or CPaaS environment, with a record of high performance.
  • Experience selling technical solutions, including closing deals and solving customer problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage business forecasts and financial models.
  • Ability to work with business and technical leaders and build effective partnerships.
  • Data-driven account development and opportunity identification skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to define processes and build programs.
  • Track record of delivering revenue and gross profit results.
  • Strong interest in the social impact market.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and change.
  • Strong process orientation and continuous-improvement mindset.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and documentation skills.
