Head of Sales
The founding Head of Sales will own revenue growth, sell large enterprise deals with banks and lenders, and build a high-performing GTM organization beyond founder-led sales. The role requires extensive B2B SaaS experience, enterprise sales leadership, startup experience, and strong executive relationships.

Responsibilities
- Own Kastle’s revenue number and key sales components, including hands-on deal management, coaching, sales-team buildout, and revenue forecasting.
- Partner with the CEO and account executives on strategic sales plans for mortgage lending, servicing, and consumer banking accounts.
- Recruit, evaluate, hire, and coach account executives and sales account executives.
- Build an enterprise sales team capable of closing $1M+ ACV deals with banks and enterprise lenders.
- Coach representatives through complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes involving C-suite leaders, InfoSec, legal, and procurement.
- Build a strategic, hunter-first culture focused on outbound selling, creative storytelling, champion development, and large enterprise deals.
Requirements
- 15+ years of formal sales experience.
- 7+ years building or scaling teams selling to large mid-market or enterprise organizations.
- Proven quota attainment in a B2B SaaS environment as an individual contributor.
- 5+ years selling in a startup or high-growth technology company.
- Demonstrated success building teams that sell net-new products or services requiring market education.
- Ability to build an independent pipeline.
- Experience with modern sales tools and methodologies.
- Strong relationships and a referenceable network with C-level executives.
- Strong consultative selling skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as an early executive, early sales hire, or first non-founder executive at a startup.
- Experience selling to large banks and lenders.
- Extensive professional network within large banks and lenders.
