Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical advisor for prospective customers across Japan evaluating Claude.
- Demonstrate business applications of Claude by developing system architectures and using novel prompting techniques.
- Partner with account executives to understand customer requirements and configure Claude demonstrations.
- Develop customized pilots, prototypes, and evaluation suites to support customer adoption.
- Advise on optimal setup, architecture, and integration with existing infrastructure.
- Recommend solutions to technical roadblocks.
- Support customer onboarding and ongoing implementation through cross-functional collaboration.
- Travel occasionally to customer sites for workshops and implementation support.
- Establish a shared vision for safe and beneficial AI solutions.
- Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of innovative solutions leveraging the latest models across Japan.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Forward Deployed Engineer, or Platform Engineer.
- Native-level Japanese fluency and business-level English.
- Experience designing innovative solutions for technical platforms across Japan.
- Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in Python.
- Recent experience building production systems with large language models.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, work across domains, and develop simple solutions.
- Strong collaboration, communication, teaching, and mentoring skills.
- Passion for safe and beneficial applications of technology.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
