Responsibilities
- Enable Consulting and System Integrator (C&SI) partners to evaluate and adopt the Databricks platform.
- Provide hands-on Apache Spark programming guidance and explain integrations with the broader cloud ecosystem.
- Develop technical champions within strategic C&SI partners through technical enablement.
- Lead workshops, seminars, and meetups for partner technical communities.
- Advise partners on big data analytics architecture and design.
- Create technical solutions and blog posts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of pre-sales or post-sales experience working with external clients or partners across multiple industries.
- Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role, with core expertise in data engineering or data science.
- Experience presenting and whiteboarding technical concepts.
- Experience designing and implementing architectures in public cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Coding experience with SQL, Python, Scala, or Java.
- Expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- Data engineering technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
- Data warehousing, including SQL, OLTP, OLAP, or DSS.
- Data science and machine learning technologies such as pandas, scikit-learn, or hyperparameter optimization.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Full professional proficiency in Japanese is mandatory; business-level English proficiency is preferred.
