Responsibilities
Product Positioning and Messaging
- Develop positioning, messaging, and value propositions for cybersecurity platforms and solutions.
- Translate technical capabilities and cybersecurity concepts into customer benefits and business outcomes.
- Create narratives for security executives, security operations teams, technical practitioners, and business leaders.
- Maintain consistent product messaging across campaigns, presentations, web content, videos, events, and sales materials.
- Partner with Product Management on roadmap, use cases, differentiation, and market opportunities.
Competitive and Market Intelligence
- Monitor cybersecurity trends, customer needs, emerging technologies, and competitors.
- Conduct competitive analysis covering capabilities, positioning, pricing, strengths, weaknesses, and go-to-market strategies.
- Develop battlecards, comparison guides, objection-handling materials, and win/loss insights.
- Share market intelligence with Product, Sales, Marketing, and executive leadership.
Sales Enablement and Training
- Develop and deliver product and cybersecurity training for sales representatives, sales engineers, channel partners, and customer-facing teams.
- Build pitch decks, solution briefs, talk tracks, FAQs, playbooks, battlecards, and customer presentations.
- Partner with Sales leadership to identify knowledge gaps and develop enablement programs.
- Support customer meetings, field events, webinars, and partner training.
Content and Storytelling
- Develop solution briefs, white papers, presentations, blogs, web copy, thought-leadership pieces, and customer-facing materials.
- Create scripts, storyboards, and messaging for product videos, demonstrations, webinars, and multimedia campaigns.
- Collaborate with creative, digital, communications, and demand-generation teams.
- Develop case studies, testimonials, and proof points with customers and internal teams.
Go-to-Market Strategy
- Lead product launches and go-to-market programs with Product, Sales, Demand Generation, Communications, and Customer Success.
- Define target audiences, buyer personas, use cases, launch plans, messaging, content requirements, and success metrics.
- Support analyst relations, media briefings, events, and conferences.
- Measure program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of product marketing experience, including significant cybersecurity or enterprise security technology experience.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity buyers, market dynamics, enterprise sales cycles, and security operations.
- Knowledge of SIEM, threat detection and response, security analytics, XDR, NDR, endpoint security, cloud security, SOC operations, or related technologies.
- Experience developing product positioning, messaging, competitive intelligence, and go-to-market strategies.
- Experience training and enabling sales teams on complex technical products and cybersecurity concepts.
- Excellent presentation, storytelling, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience developing video scripts, webinars, product demonstrations, and multimedia content.
- Ability to communicate with technical audiences and executive stakeholders.
- Strong project-management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience collaborating with globally distributed Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams.
