Account Executive, EMEA
Owns new-logo activation, customer relationships, expansion opportunities, pipeline, and quota attainment across the EMEA market. Requires at least three years of sales, customer success, account management, or business development experience plus technical aptitude.

Responsibilities
- Activate and implement new logo accounts and get them up and running on the platform.
- Identify activation and expansion opportunities within the customer base.
- Own the success of a broad book of business.
- Create and grow relationships with customer champions.
- Drive consistent activity, pipeline development, and quota attainment.
- Partner with product marketing to deliver appropriate messaging and content to Temporal Cloud customers.
- Design and execute programs to identify, design, and productionize new use cases with customers.
- Identify ICP accounts and pursue the right opportunities in the right accounts to drive ARR growth.
- Work closely with the Startup Program and Self-Signup teams to ensure success for appropriate new-logo prospects.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in sales, customer success, account management, or sales/business development.
- Passion for advocating on behalf of customers.
- Technical aptitude and curiosity, with an interest in learning about Temporal, databases, cloud, and infrastructure concepts.
- Ability to work autonomously and own a customer portfolio while making decisions that drive effective customer outcomes.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to build new processes and practices.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Experience with Salesforce, Slack, Outreach, Gong, or CommonRoom.
Nice to Have
- Prior exposure to database, cloud, and infrastructure technology.
Compensation and Benefits
- OTE range expected to be approximately €220,000, based on location and experience.
- Eligible to participate in Temporal’s equity plan.
