Advises large German enterprises on deploying Claude, leading technical evaluations, architecture, agent design, proofs of value, and adoption through procurement and deployment. The role requires fluent German, substantial software or solutions architecture experience, production LLM application expertise, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Partner with Enterprise Account Executives and Applied AI Architects to guide enterprise customers in Germany from initial conversations through technical evaluation, proof of value, procurement, and adoption decisions.
- Lead the technical side of enterprise opportunities and remain the customer’s technical advisor throughout deployment.
- Define target architectures, success criteria, and delivery guidance for customers and systems integration partners.
- Advise engineering teams on Claude Platform architecture, agent design, evaluation, security, scale, data residency, compliance, and governance.
- Build and present business value cases to C-level and senior executives in German and English, linking technical capabilities to measurable outcomes.
- Lead technical workshops, executive briefings, enablement sessions, proofs of concept, technical due diligence, and architecture reviews.
- Collaborate with Account Executives on account strategy, qualification, and executive engagement plans.
- Identify recurring enterprise patterns and provide feedback to Product, Engineering, and the Applied AI team.
- Travel to customer sites across Germany.
Requirements
- Native or fluent German, written and spoken.
- 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed Engineer, or technical founder.
- Experience in pre-sales or technical advisory roles selling complex solutions to large enterprises, ideally in the German market.
- Experience with value-based selling, business-case development, impact quantification, and senior-stakeholder presentations.
- Experience owning the technical win in enterprise deals, including evaluations, proofs of concept, and technical due diligence.
- Production experience with LLM-powered applications, including prompting, context engineering, agent architectures, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying production applications.
- Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, and architecture requirements.
- Ability to explain complex AI concepts to technical and executive audiences across industries.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field.
