Senior Technical Content Manager

Leads technical content, education, and enablement programs that help customers, partners, Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success adopt and communicate cybersecurity products. Requires 5+ years in cybersecurity or a related technical customer-facing function, plus strong writing, presentation, and training skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver technical enablement programs, certifications, workshops, and hands-on learning experiences for internal teams, customers, and partners.
  • Create technical solution guides, blogs, whitepapers, playbooks, demo guides, FAQs, and other practitioner-focused content.
  • Develop and maintain competitive technical marketing assets, including battlecards, technical comparisons, proof points, and demo guidance.
  • Support product launches with technical content, training, and enablement in partnership with Product Marketing.
  • Translate product capabilities and research into customer-ready technical resources with Product Management and Censys ARC.
  • Gather feedback from customers, partners, and customer-facing teams to improve technical content and enablement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity in Technical Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Customer Success, Product Management, Product Marketing, or a related technical customer-facing role.
  • Experience with Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, Exposure Management, Attack Surface Management, or related cybersecurity technologies.
  • Exceptional technical writing, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience creating technical content, sales enablement, partner enablement, training, certification, or educational programs.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex products, customer workflows, and technical architectures.
  • Experience delivering technical workshops, customer education, demos, or instructor-led training.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and consistently deliver high-quality work.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Internet infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, or Internet-facing security technologies.
  • Experience supporting reseller, MSSP, distributor, or technology partner ecosystems.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Expected salary for high cost-of-living areas including San Francisco Bay, New York City, and Seattle: $176,400 USD–$202,500 USD, plus bonus eligibility and equity.
  • Expected salary for all other locations: $158,400 USD–$175,000 USD, plus bonus eligibility and equity.
  • Benefits include equity, health, dental and vision coverage, retirement contributions, parental leave, mental health and wellness benefits, flexible PTO, and a professional development stipend.
