Senior Team Lead, GTM Instructional Design
Leads day-to-day customer education content operations, coordinating instructional designers, stakeholders, workflows, quality reviews, AI-enabled processes, and reporting. The role requires at least five years of relevant experience, strong project management and digital learning expertise, and the ability to coach or lead a content team.

Responsibilities
Content Operations & Project Management
- Manage day-to-day execution of course, video, and customer enablement content builds across instructional designers and Customer Enablement Managers.
- Manage the Customer Enablement Jira board, including ticket intake, triage, assignment, prioritization, sequencing, status updates, and follow-through.
- Translate approved content requests into clear build requirements, including audience, objectives, source material, SME input, format, timing, and review expectations.
- Coordinate content production across eLearning, video, product release education, customer onboarding, adoption, and content maintenance.
- Identify blockers, unclear requirements, duplicate work, capacity constraints, and prioritization conflicts, escalating as needed.
Content Quality, Cohesion & Brand Alignment
- Review outlines, scripts, courses, videos, and other customer-facing learning assets before build and publishing.
- Provide actionable feedback to improve quality, clarity, accuracy, consistency, structure, tone, and audience alignment.
- Create, edit, and maintain content for priority builds, urgent updates, or capacity needs.
- Maintain cohesive education assets across ZoomInfo University, video content, and related customer enablement programs.
- Partner with content creators to align learning assets with customer workflows, product use cases, and business priorities.
- Maintain content standards, templates, review processes, and quality expectations.
AI-Enabled Content Workflows
- Use AI tools and internal AI systems to improve content creation, review, maintenance, and reporting workflows.
- Identify repeatable processes for improvement through AI, automation, templates, or reusable workflows.
- Support AI-assisted outlining, summarization, content review, metadata, content updates, and source-material synthesis.
- Perform quality control to ensure AI-assisted content is accurate, clear, on-brand, and customer-ready.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work with Product, Product Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and other subject-matter experts to gather context and validation.
- Coordinate SME involvement for recordings, reviews, content QA, source-material validation, and release education.
- Align production priorities with business needs, product priorities, customer pain points, and field feedback.
- Coordinate between Customer Enablement content creators and internal stakeholders.
Analytics & Reporting
- Own monthly reporting for content production status, learner engagement, content usage, completion trends, feedback, and content gaps.
- Analyze data from relevant systems to monitor team performance, content health, and customer learning activity.
- Present progress, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions to teams and leadership.
- Recommend content updates, improvements, retirements, or new priorities using data, feedback, and performance signals.
Team Leadership
- Guide, coach, and support instructional designers and Customer Enablement Managers.
- Establish expectations for content quality, project ownership, communication, review timelines, and follow-through.
- Remove blockers, clarify priorities, and support timely delivery of high-quality work.
- People management experience is strongly preferred and the role may include direct people leadership responsibilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Customer Enablement, Customer Education, Learning & Development, Content Operations, Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design, or a related SaaS function.
- Experience managing or coordinating content projects across multiple stakeholders, formats, and deadlines.
- Strong understanding of digital learning content, including eLearning, video, customer training, onboarding, or product education.
- Experience reviewing content for quality, clarity, accuracy, consistency, and audience fit.
- Cross-functional experience with Product, Product Marketing, Customer Success, Support, or internal subject-matter experts.
- Strong project management skills, including intake, prioritization, ticket management, status reporting, and follow-through.
- Experience using data and feedback to identify content gaps, measure impact, and recommend improvements.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading, managing, mentoring, or coaching team members.
- Experience with Jira or similar project-management tools.
- Experience using AI tools to improve content creation, maintenance, reporting, or team workflows.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, customer success, product education, or customer onboarding.
- Knowledge of ZoomInfo’s product suite, customer workflows, user personas, and common use cases.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms, authoring tools, video production workflows, knowledge bases, reporting tools, or customer education analytics.
- Experience supporting product releases, customer education launches, adoption programs, or scalable self-service learning programs.
Compensation & Benefits
- US base salary range: $70,000–$110,000, plus bonus and benefits.
