About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the multi-year product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Socure’s credit score and credit-adjacent product portfolio, ensuring alignment with broader company strategy.
  • Lead development of products built on BNPL and CRA consortia, focusing on credit risk, underwriting, and adjacent financial services use cases.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities at the intersection of credit reporting, first-party fraud, identity verification, underwriting, and risk decisioning.
  • Partner with Data Science, Engineering, and Data teams to design scalable capabilities, data assets, models, and feedback loops.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure alignment with FCRA, CFPB, GLBA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Shape approach to CRA formation, data segregation, infrastructure, consumer disputes, and compliance models.
  • Drive product discovery through market research, customer interviews, competitive analysis, and partner engagement.
  • Partner with GTM, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Solution Consulting for market narratives and commercial outcomes.
  • Establish success metrics, business cases, and KPIs; use data-driven insights for prioritization and iteration.
  • Own executive stakeholder alignment and communication on roadmap, tradeoffs, progress, and risks.
  • Build, lead, and develop a team of product managers.
  • Serve as internal and external thought leader for credit and consortium strategy.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of product management experience with significant leadership in complex B2B data, risk, fintech, or financial services products.
  • 5+ years leading product managers or senior product leaders across a portfolio or major business area.
  • Deep domain expertise in credit risk, credit scoring, underwriting, lending infrastructure, credit bureau/CRA products, first-party fraud, BNPL, or adjacent financial risk products.
  • Proven success building and scaling 0→1 or early-stage products in highly regulated markets.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environment including FCRA; familiarity with CFPB, GLBA, dispute processes, and permissible purpose frameworks strongly preferred.
  • Ability to partner effectively across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including building business cases, evaluating monetization, and balancing value with revenue and strategy.
  • Excellent communication and executive influence skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field required; advanced degree (MBA, JD) preferred.
