Marketing Technology Lead

Responsibilities

  • Own Lyft’s B2B marketing technology stack from solution design through delivery, adoption, support, and ongoing reliability.
  • Gather requirements and translate business needs into functional and technical designs.
  • Configure and extend HubSpot across workflows, forms, lead scoring, and custom objects; build integrations with CRM, data, web, advertising, and platform systems.
  • Own the marketing technology roadmap, architecture, lead and account data model, enrichment and routing logic, tracking and instrumentation, and attribution data capture.
  • Manage lead identity, deduplication, scoring, routing, MQL/SQL definitions, and funnel-stage integrity.
  • Evaluate and implement AI capabilities for lead scoring, routing, content, and campaign workflows.
  • Establish technical standards through design reviews and documentation covering failure states, scalability, and supportability.
  • Monitor platform performance and email deliverability, support incidents, lead postmortems, and drive automation.
  • Own governance for consent, subscription management, privacy compliance, data quality, and change management.
  • Manage the marketing tool portfolio and budget, including evaluation, procurement, contracting, and renewals.
  • Serve as technical expert and escalation point; provide technical enablement to partner teams.
  • Partner with marketing leaders on prioritization, mentor engineers and contractors, support hiring, and communicate roadmap, risks, tradeoffs, and progress to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing technology, marketing operations engineering, or business systems, including 3+ years leading solution design and delivery.
  • 5+ years administering and configuring a B2B marketing automation platform such as HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, or Eloqua, with an active platform certification.
  • Hands-on experience in at least two additional platform categories, such as content management, lead routing, data enrichment, ABM, analytics, or attribution.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce or equivalent CRM experience, plus at least three delivered integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, or middleware.
  • Experience with tag management and web or campaign tracking instrumentation.
  • Experience leading at least two large, cross-functional marketing technology programs, including a platform implementation or migration.
  • Experience providing technical direction to engineers, contractors, or implementation partners.
  • Strong understanding of B2B demand generation and lead-to-opportunity workflows, including lead scoring, routing, attribution, and funnel reporting.
  • Ability to communicate technical direction and tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders and present roadmaps and status to senior leadership.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with marketing data quality, consent and subscription management, and email and privacy compliance, including CAN-SPAM, CASL, or GDPR.
  • Experience with Databricks or Snowflake and SQL.
