Responsibilities
- Create accessible, user-friendly, and localizable documentation for virtual desktop infrastructure management tools.
- Work within the software development lifecycle with designers, engineers, and project managers.
- Manage the full documentation lifecycle, including research, testing, writing, source management, localization, and publishing.
- Use AI tools and scripting languages to improve and automate documentation processes.
- Identify and profile target audiences, tailoring technically accurate and engaging content to their needs.
- Organize and prioritize multiple projects at different stages.
- Pitch process improvements, create prototypes, and demonstrate the value of new approaches.
Required Qualifications
- Experience creating and source-managing XML structured content, including variable resolution, content reuse, multichannel output, and multilingual publishing.
- Deep understanding of software user experience design and the role of technical documentation in shaping that experience.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Passion for using and improving software.
- Curiosity about AI and process automation.
- Creative problem-solving skills and confidence presenting ideas to senior managers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of or experience with virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience migrating documentation between tool stacks while maintaining service levels.
- Experience with post-migration documentation cleanup and maintenance.
- Experience delivering localization projects at scale using a Translation Management System (TMS).
- Experience working with engineers and project managers to deliver software releases within Azure DevOps or a similar environment.
