FP&A Manager

The FP&A Manager will own planning cycles, executive and board reporting, SaaS KPI infrastructure, and strategic financial modeling for a high-growth company. The role requires 5–8 years of relevant finance experience, advanced modeling skills, and strong Excel or Google Sheets expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Support annual budgeting, quarterly reforecasts, and the rolling operating model, including revenue, headcount, and expense builds.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages with variance analysis and written commentary explaining business drivers.
  • Build and maintain board and investor reporting materials in partnership with FP&A and Finance leadership.
  • Track and improve SaaS efficiency metrics, including CAC and payback, magic number, gross margin, and burn efficiency.
  • Improve planning and reporting infrastructure, including systems, data flows, and source-of-truth definitions connecting ERP, CRM, and planning tools.
  • Partner with department leaders on headcount planning, spend management, and monthly budget reviews.
  • Build models supporting pricing and packaging, product investment cases, fundraising, and evaluation of inorganic opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or consulting, with meaningful exposure to high-growth SaaS.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills.
  • Expert fluency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong command of accounting fundamentals and their impact on planning, reporting, and revenue recognition.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to turn complex analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • High degree of ownership and comfort operating in ambiguity and a fast-moving environment.

Nice to Have

  • Working knowledge of modern planning tools such as Pigment, Runway, Mosaic, or Anaplan.
  • Comfort with SQL or BI tools.
