About the role
Responsibilities
Manage and execute key accounting operations, including the monthly global close and consolidation process with intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation.
Perform general ledger accounting, review accrual entries, and oversee cash transaction processing and reconciliations.
Partner with the broader finance team to ensure a timely close and reporting cycle and assist with team objectives.
Assist with implementing, documenting, and maintaining internal controls in preparation for future SOX compliance requirements.
Contribute to implementing, enhancing, and optimizing accounting systems and processes.
Support change management initiatives through clear documentation and governance practices.
Promote quality and accuracy through ongoing review, verification, and reconciliation activities.
Stay current on industry best practices and emerging accounting trends.
Perform additional tasks as needed to support strategic objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Accounting is preferred.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and experience in a robust internal control environment.
Familiarity with SOX compliance is a plus.
Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Ability to manage projects from inception to completion while incorporating feedback from multiple sources.
