About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute key accounting operations, including the monthly global close and consolidation process with intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation.
  • Perform general ledger accounting, review accrual entries, and oversee cash transaction processing and reconciliations.
  • Partner with the broader finance team to ensure a timely close and reporting cycle and assist with team objectives.
  • Assist with implementing, documenting, and maintaining internal controls in preparation for future SOX compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to implementing, enhancing, and optimizing accounting systems and processes.
  • Support change management initiatives through clear documentation and governance practices.
  • Promote quality and accuracy through ongoing review, verification, and reconciliation activities.
  • Stay current on industry best practices and emerging accounting trends.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Accounting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and experience in a robust internal control environment.
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance is a plus.
  • Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage projects from inception to completion while incorporating feedback from multiple sources.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
