Technical consultant supporting commercial customers through financial-system integrations, configuration, and implementation design. The role requires customer-facing technical experience, ERP and accounting workflow knowledge, and the ability to translate APIs and system architecture into scalable business solutions.

Responsibilities
- Advise customers and internal teams on high-value implementations and expansion opportunities, guiding integration, configuration, and system design.
- Assess customer requirements with Customer Activation and Account Management teams and propose scalable ERP, HRIS, and API integration solutions.
- Support technical workstreams with onboarding specialists and implementation leads to accelerate time-to-value and customer success.
- Conduct technical discovery of customer systems and workflows and recommend best-fit Ramp architecture, including appropriate use of Ramp’s API.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on HRIS and accounting integration partners.
- Troubleshoot integration blockers and guide customers through complex configuration decisions without writing code directly.
- Contribute to internal documentation and tooling for integration use cases.
- Communicate customer feedback and pain points to Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, or a similar customer-facing technical role, ideally in SaaS or fintech.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, or Oracle Fusion.
- Comfort with APIs, integration logic, and system architecture, including explaining these concepts to finance and operations stakeholders.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with ownership and adaptability.
