Requirements

Actively enrolled in an accredited college or university program during the internship.
Completed bachelor's degree, with a master's or PhD in progress.
Preferred fields include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Coursework in algorithms, data structures, and operating systems.
Recommended coursework in database systems, distributed systems, geospatial/geographic information systems, cloud computing, or compilers.
Excellent programming skills in C++ or Java.
Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
Fluent English communication skills.
Experience working as part of a team.
Systems programming skills, including multithreading and concurrency.
Internship duration of at least 4 months; 6 months recommended, with up to 12 months supported.

Research or publications in databases or distributed systems.
Experience processing geospatial features.
