Software Engineer
Develop complex backend features for a distributed master data management platform using Java and cloud technologies. The role leads feature delivery, testing, documentation, technical decisions, and mentorship while collaborating across engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities
- Present technical solutions to architects and lead feature delivery from design through implementation.
- Make day-to-day technical decisions, provide development leadership, and distribute tasks across engineers.
- Collaborate with technical leads, architects, Kanban masters, QA, product managers, and cross-functional teams.
- Develop complex features for the core master data management platform.
- Define unit and integration testing approaches, ensure strong code coverage, and review test plans.
- Maintain internal feature documentation.
- Provide implementation support and technical mentorship to junior engineers.
- Support and sustain the areas under the engineer’s responsibility.
- Perform performance optimization, code profiling, and Java application runtime analysis.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in enterprise application design and development.
- 2+ years of backend application development experience.
- 1+ year of experience building scalable distributed data systems with Java and cloud technology.
- Strong knowledge of Java 8 or later and Java runtime fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience reviewing and writing production code.
- Strong foundation in computer science, including algorithms, data structures, software design, and large distributed systems.
- Ability to deliver solutions, provide implementation support, and engage with customers.
- Experience developing software for enterprise customers.
Nice to Have
- SaaS customer support experience.
- Experience with big data technologies.
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud-managed services, including AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
