About the role
What You'll Do
Partner directly with founders to define Tamarind's brand, messaging, and market positioning
Translate complex AI, infrastructure, and computational biology concepts into simple, compelling marketing content
Own product positioning and messaging across website, collateral, presentations, and customer-facing materials
Develop content that helps customers understand the value of Tamarind's platform and capabilities
Create product launch plans and GTM campaigns for new features, workflows, and model releases
Build customer case studies, success stories, technical blogs, and thought leadership content
Work closely with customers to understand pain points and translate insights into marketing strategy
Support conference strategy, event marketing, and industry presence
Partner with sales and founders to refine messaging based on customer conversations and market feedback
Help establish Tamarind's marketing function, processes, and early growth initiatives
Week in the Life
Collaborate with founders on messaging, positioning, and strategic GTM initiatives
Interview customers and scientists to better understand user needs and success stories
Develop website content, product narratives, and launch materials
Create presentations and collateral for enterprise customers and industry events
Partner with engineering and product teams to translate technical capabilities into market-ready messaging
Support conference planning, thought leadership initiatives, and content development
Run experiments across content, brand, and demand generation efforts
Ideal Qualifications
Experience in Product Marketing, Technical Marketing, Content Marketing, or a related GTM role
Strong ability to simplify highly technical products into clear customer-facing narratives
Excellent written communication and storytelling skills
Experience working closely with founders, product teams, and customers
High agency and ability to operate in ambiguity
Passion for building from zero in an early-stage startup environment
Willingness to work onsite in San Francisco and travel as needed
Curiosity and interest in AI, life sciences, developer tools, infrastructure, or emerging technologies
Shape OpenAI's narrative on frontier research, AI safety, preparedness, and reasoning. Translate complex technical concepts into compelling stories for researchers, policymakers, developers, and the public while leading GTM for major research and safety initiatives.
