About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define the voice, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for Basis.
  • Develop product positioning and segmentation for key buyer personas (executives, accounting firm partners, CFOs).
  • Partner with sales to craft narratives, decks, and demo storylines.
  • Create high-leverage content: case studies, ROI calculators, product videos.
  • Own competitive intelligence and collaborate on new feature launches.
  • Drive external storytelling and thought leadership on AI in accounting.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years in B2B SaaS or enterprise product marketing (fintech/accounting/ERP a plus).
  • Proven storytelling to simplify complex technical workflows.
  • Strategic execution from high-level GTM to hands-on work.
  • Comfort building marketing functions from scratch.
  • Intellectual curiosity in AI reshaping professional work.
