Accounting Manager, GL Operations & Intercompany
Leads global general ledger close, consolidation, and intercompany accounting operations across multiple entities. The role requires a CPA, 9+ years of accounting or finance experience, people-management experience, and expertise in U.S. GAAP, SOX controls, SQL, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end month-end and quarter-end close processes across global entities, ensuring timely, accurate general ledger reporting and consolidated financial statements.
- Lead global intercompany operations, including billing, cash settlements, transfer pricing execution, foreign exchange gain/loss analysis, and elimination entries.
- Partner with Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Finance Data to operationalize new intercompany agreements, entity launches, and transfer pricing methodologies into scalable processes.
- Design, implement, and document SOX-compliant internal controls across GL operations and intercompany processes.
- Execute strategic general ledger projects, including M&A integration, new entity setups, and ERP enhancements in NetSuite.
- Mentor and develop direct reports while fostering continuous improvement and professional growth.
Requirements
- CPA with 9+ years of experience in accounting or finance, including 2+ years managing direct reports; public accounting experience, preferably Big Four.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Applied knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX 404 implementation and documentation.
- Experience managing end-to-end month-end close processes across multiple entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidated reporting.
- Experience leading multi-entity intercompany accounting processes, such as eliminations, foreign exchange revaluation, and global consolidations.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with analytics tools and ERP systems; NetSuite preferred.
- Experience in a fintech or crypto environment is preferred.
- Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and improve workflow efficiency and quality.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary: $170,000–$170,000 CAD.
- Total compensation may also include equity, bonus eligibility, and medical, dental, and vision benefits.
