Senior Software Engineer, Revenue Engineering
Builds scalable Python and Django backend services, APIs, and event-driven integrations that support purchasing, provisioning, billing, and subscription lifecycle workflows. The role leads complex technical initiatives and partners across Product, Revenue Operations, Finance, and external implementation teams.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and applications using Python and Django for customer provisioning, permissions and packaging, self-service purchasing, and subscription lifecycle workflows.
- Design and implement REST APIs and event-driven integrations between Muck Rack, Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Stripe, RightRev, and other business systems.
- Evolve the internal integration platform with scalable services that translate commercial events into product actions and customer experiences.
- Partner with Product, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Salesforce implementation partners to define integration patterns, API contracts, event models, and technical solutions.
- Lead medium-to-large engineering initiatives from architecture and technical design through production.
- Identify cross-system dependencies and technical risks, drive decisions, and unblock delivery.
- Write clean, tested, and documented code; contribute through code reviews and technical mentorship.
- Improve reliability, observability, scalability, and performance of revenue-critical services.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues across distributed systems and integrations.
- Contribute to the long-term architecture of the revenue platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and extensive experience building production applications with Django.
- Experience designing REST APIs and integrating with third-party platforms and external systems.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, particularly MySQL, and ORM patterns.
- Experience designing scalable, maintainable backend services in a SaaS environment.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, asynchronous processing, or messaging platforms such as Kafka and Celery.
- Ability to independently lead technical initiatives from architecture and design through production.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production support experience across distributed systems and integrations.
- Experience using Git and modern collaborative software development workflows.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical considerations to technical and non-technical partners.
- Flexibility to adjust working hours for overlap with teammates in US time zones.

Compensation & Benefits
- Ireland salary: €95,000–€110,000 annually, depending on experience.
- Bulgaria salary: €6,000+ gross per month, depending on experience.
