Senior Engineering Manager, Rider Loyalty, Partnerships, and Rider Pay

Leads multiple engineering managers and Staff ICs across iOS, Android, and server teams building consumer-facing rider loyalty, partnerships, and payments products. Requires experience managing large engineering organizations, managers, and products at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Set the technical vision and team strategy for the Rider Loyalty, Partnerships, and Rider Pay group, communicating it to direct reports, peers, and executive leadership.
  • Coach and guide managers and engineers in their people and technical development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high business impact.
  • Partner with recruiting to hire high-potential candidates from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams of 20+ members, including iOS, Android, and server teams.
  • Experience managing managers.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly cross-functional environment and drive projects to completion across organizational boundaries.
  • Passion for building scalable, extensible solutions that enable others and support a high-quality product.
  • Experience launching and supporting consumer-facing products at scale.
  • Strong technical foundation in mobile and server engineering.

Compensation

  • Expected base pay range in the Toronto area: CAD $216,000–$270,000.
  • Potential equity, bonus, and benefits are not included in the base pay range.
