Coordinates end-to-end international freight movements, partner operations, client issues, and shipment financials across ocean, air, and cross-border trucking networks. Responsibilities
- Own and execute the end-to-end movement of global shipments within a regional network, including ocean LCL and FCL, ocean imports, air imports and exports, and cross-border trucking.
- Ensure shipments move on time and exceptions are handled appropriately.
- Meet internal KPIs and SLAs demonstrating quality delivery.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Own the client experience by resolving issues quickly, ensuring smooth operations at origin and destination, and escalating issues as needed.
- Coordinate day-to-day logistics operations with steamship lines, air carriers, intermodal and drayage vendors, customs, trade lane management, warehousing, transloading, trucking, and air operations teams.
- Execute end-to-end freight movements for imports, exports, and intermodal shipments.
- Assist with shipments managed by partners while supporting partner autonomy.
- Quote and invoice client shipments with responsibility for their P&L.
- Prepare QBR and MBR presentations and hold client operational calls when needed.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, ocean carrier operations, or consulting.
- Ocean freight knowledge is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Ability to adapt to new technology and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective time management and ability to prioritize and manage a large volume of tasks.
