Market Performance Associate - Ocean Gateway
Owns ground transportation performance strategy in assigned markets, managing drayage vendors, service-level reporting, carrier allocations, and operational escalations. The role requires supply chain expertise, strong vendor relationships, analytical skills, and experience with SQL, Looker, and Snowflake.

Responsibilities
- Develop and own vendor relationships with drayage partners to support growth and deliver high-quality customer service.
- Develop dashboards to measure trucking service-level agreements and collaborate cross-functionally with business leads to establish and achieve key results.
- Manage market- and vendor-level performance reporting, including inbound forecasting, milestone reporting, and timely pickup and delivery.
- Provide product support to drayage carriers by onboarding, training, and coaching dispatchers on Transmission.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for trucker assignments and market allocations based on carrier performance.
- Oversee implementation of new FCL/LCL destination business through carrier selection, standard operating procedure development, and shipment monitoring.
- Navigate service escalations with Gateway Operator peers to keep freight moving and deliver a positive client experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain roles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of industry products and technology, including experience building products and partnering with product teams.
- Expert knowledge of ground transportation, including import and/or export experience from a sales, operations, or procurement perspective.
- Experience building and maintaining strong vendor relationships and partnerships.
- Analytical, metrics-driven approach to problem solving and organizational management.
- Strong analytical background and proficiency with analytical tools such as Excel.
- Strategic vision combined with hands-on execution.
- Experience with SQL, Looker, and Snowflake, including data manipulation and dashboard or report building.
