Owns GovWell’s editorial strategy and creates thought leadership, customer stories, social content, research, and other content that builds the brand and supports revenue. The role requires exceptional writing, end-to-end publishing experience, executive ghostwriting, and strong editorial judgment.

Responsibilities
- Own GovWell’s editorial calendar and publishing cadence across blog, social, email, and other channels.
- Distribute and optimize content for SEO and AI discoverability.
- Write and publish thought leadership, original data reports, gated guides, product stories, and analysis of trends shaping government.
- Own GovWell’s social presence and ghostwrite for founders, developing distinct voices and a consistent publishing rhythm.
- Build a customer story engine by sourcing, producing, and publishing case studies and customer videos in partnership with Sales and Deployment.
- Set a high editorial bar and experiment with new formats, stories, and creative approaches.
Requirements
- 1–3+ years of experience in content marketing, journalism, editorial, or a related role.
- Portfolio of personally written published work.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, including the ability to make technical, bureaucratic, or complex topics clear and compelling.
- Creativity, curiosity, strong editorial taste, and an instinct for finding engaging stories.
- Ability to take ideas from research and writing through distribution, SEO, and performance analysis.
- Experience owning social channels and ghostwriting for executives.
- Understanding of how content can generate pipeline, influence deals, strengthen brand, and engage existing customers.
- Ability to use AI to accelerate research and execution without sacrificing originality, judgment, or quality.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $165,000–$185,000.
