Content Marketing Lead
Leads technical content strategy and production for developer audiences, covering infrastructure topics, comparisons, customer proof, launches, and sales materials. The role requires 4–7 years of technical content experience, code literacy, and the ability to connect content experiments to citations, pipeline, conversion, and revenue.
About the job
Responsibilities
- Create technical articles, social media posts, emails, customer stories, comparison and migration pages, launch content, and sales materials for developer and technical audiences.
- Own content strategy and take projects from ideation and research through drafting, review, publication, distribution, and measurement.
- Create docs-adjacent content that earns citations in AI-generated answers and withstands developer scrutiny.
- Own the editorial loop for the AEO scanner: identify citation gaps, ship content to address them, and measure citation-share changes.
- Publish technically credible comparison and migration content using transparent benchmarks.
- Turn customer outcomes into technical case studies and coordinate account-expansion content plays.
- Manage the editorial calendar as an impact-focused test backlog.
- Define hypotheses, metrics, cohorts, and review dates for content experiments; revise or retire underperforming content.
- Audit and prune the content library quarterly based on citations, qualified pipeline, and revenue influence.
- Collaborate with growth engineering, product, developer relations, sales, account management, engineers, technical leaders, and customers.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience creating technical content for developer audiences.
- Ability to read code and write credibly about sandboxing, isolation, runtime security, and related infrastructure topics.
- Strong editorial judgment and point of view.
- Experience connecting content to measurement across citations, qualified pipeline, conversion, and revenue influence.
- Comfort partnering with engineers, growth, sales, and customers to uncover evidence and produce useful content.
- Ownership and experimentation mindset: form hypotheses, ship, measure, learn, and make decisive follow-up decisions.
- Judgment to stop work that does not create meaningful impact.
Nice to Have
- Experience running SEO or AEO programs.
- Experience creating technical comparison, migration, or developer-education content for a B2B infrastructure company.
- Track record of tying content programs to pipeline in a high-growth startup.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $160,000–$200,000 annually.
- Healthcare, vision, and dental insurance.
- Unlimited paid time off.
- 401(k).
