Director, Monetization Strategy
Lead Figma's monetization strategy across pricing, packaging, AI credits, and business model evolution. Partner with C-level stakeholders and lead a small team to drive high-impact decisions.

What you'll do at Figma:
- Own Figma's monetization strategy, leading the development and execution of pricing, packaging, and business model initiatives
- Drive cross-functional decision-making on high-impact strategic opportunities, partnering with executive stakeholders to align on direction and outcomes
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, raising the bar for strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and executive communication
- Partner with Product, Finance, Engineering, and GTM teams to translate monetization strategies into product, operational, and commercial outcomes
- Define monetization approaches for emerging areas of the business, including AI-powered experiences, consumption-based offerings, APIs, and acquisitions
- Influence company planning by bringing a monetization perspective to long-term strategy, investment decisions, and growth opportunities
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- 12+ years of experience spanning strategy consulting, private equity operations, business operations, product strategy, growth, revenue strategy, or related functions within high-growth technology companies
- Demonstrated success developing business strategies and driving executive decisions on complex, ambiguous, and high-impact business challenges
- Experience shaping monetization strategies, including pricing, packaging, business model design, or consumption-based offerings
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple functions
- Strong business, financial, and analytical acumen, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to executive audiences
Nice to have:
- Developed usage-based or consumption-based pricing strategies
- Built financial models to support strategic decision-making and investment planning
- Utilized SQL or similar analytical tools to evaluate business performance and customer behavior
