Senior Software Engineer, Lending Products
Build and own backend platform infrastructure that enables engineering teams to develop and ship lending products quickly and reliably. The role requires 5+ years of backend experience, strong ownership, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Develop key components of lending platform infrastructure, including systems and frameworks used to build and ship lending products.
- Partner with engineers across lending verticals to understand their needs and deliver platform capabilities.
- Identify and implement infrastructure improvements that accelerate product development and improve system reliability.
- Contribute through code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Mentor engineers, improve team processes and code quality, and foster a culture of ownership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a backend engineering role, ideally in a platform or product-focused environment.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and commitment to high-quality software.
- Experience independently owning and developing new platform capabilities.
- Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills across Engineering, Product, and Data Science.
- Ability to work effectively on a small team.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building internal platforms or frameworks used by other engineering teams.
- Experience in fintech, financial products, or embedded finance.
- Experience designing systems with strong correctness and auditability requirements.

- Salary range: $215,000–$275,000 plus equity grant.
