Unmanned Aircraft Operations Intern
Supports planning and potential execution of European unmanned-aircraft missions, coordinating operational approvals, logistics, stakeholders, schedules, budgets, and on-site execution. Requires aerospace or related academic experience, knowledge of EASA unmanned-aircraft regulations, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Capture and record all planning requirements needed to conduct the mission safely.
- Capture and report approval requirements for intended flight missions at European target locations.
- Identify customer stakeholders and develop communication streams, formats, and processes for planning and execution.
- Define logistics requirements, including aircraft and equipment transport, aircraft sheltering, transport clearances, and crew lodging.
- Develop a mission-planning budget framework and obtain information from affected internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage the mission preparation and execution schedule.
- Establish progress-reporting dashboards and provide regular status updates to management.
- Secure required on-site prerequisites before the operations crew arrives.
- Support the operations crew in resolving issues during mission execution.
- Support on-site coordination and communication with customers during mission demonstrations.
- Document program expenses against the budget.
Requirements
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a bachelor's or advanced degree program in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- Understanding of the EASA regulatory framework for unmanned-aircraft operations.
- Strong interest in aircraft operations.
- Excellent coordination and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or equivalent Google applications.
- Ability to manage multiple interdependent tasks in a highly dynamic environment.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a participative team member.
