Leads financial close, statutory reporting, audits, technical accounting, tax reviews, and outsourced finance operations for an Ireland-based entity. Requires 8+ years of accounting experience, professional certification, consolidation expertise, and strong US GAAP and IFRS/FRS 102 knowledge.

Responsibilities
- Lead financial close processes: Manage the monthly close of US GAAP books and local books, including balance sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules, flux analysis, and reporting deliverables.
- Statutory audit process: Own financial statement preparation, technical memos, and audit support, culminating in presentations to the board of directors.
- Technical expertise: Maintain fluency with US GAAP and IFRS/FRS 102, producing necessary technical accounting memos.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Tax, Transfer Pricing, Treasury, Corporate Accounting, and Legal teams on diverse projects.
- Outsourcing management: Supervise finance outsourcing partners to ensure compliance and filing requirements are met timely and accurately.
- Process efficiency: Enhance existing processes through simplification and automation to drive efficiencies.
- Regulatory compliance: Stay informed about changes in accounting and tax regulations in Ireland.
- Tax review: Oversee the preparation and review of direct and indirect tax returns.
Requirements
- 8+ years of accounting experience, preferably trained in audit; Big Four and industry experience preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting systems such as Oracle or equivalent.
- Experience with large audits involving central and local teams, and with tax filings.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and FRS 102/IFRS.
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional initiatives.
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Flexibility in a fast-paced, growing environment with changing requirements.
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification.
- Consolidation experience.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong problem-solving ability and a passion for solving complex challenges.
- Self-starter.

- Experience in payments, fintech, or financial services.
- Accounting experience in a fast-growing technology environment.
- Hubble or SQL experience.
