The Senior Accountant will manage international accounting operations from Dublin, including month-end close, reconciliations, statutory reporting, audits, tax support, and entity expansion. The role requires a qualified accountant with 5+ years of post-qualification experience and expertise in IFRS, FRS 102, and US GAAP.

Responsibilities

  • Execute monthly close processes under US GAAP for international entities, including journal entry processing.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and monthly or quarterly entity-level flux analyses.
  • Oversee local statutory audits and reporting, including external auditor coordination, local-to-US GAAP bridge files, audit support, and technical documentation.
  • Manage third-party accounting service providers across daily and month-end operations.
  • Prepare monthly funding requests for international subsidiaries.
  • Partner with US Corporate Accounting on accounting and reporting matters.
  • Coordinate with international payroll on payroll journals and reconciliations.
  • Support international tax filings, payments, and initiatives.
  • Support global expansion, including new entity setup and operationalization.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on strategic projects.
  • Implement process improvements to strengthen controls and increase efficiency.
  • Evaluate and implement AI solutions for measurable process improvements.

Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a high-growth multinational environment.
  • Technical expertise and practical application of IFRS, FRS 102, and US GAAP.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite or similar cloud-based platforms.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets and close management tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
