Responsibilities
- Develop sophisticated revenue models for projection, attribution, customer behavior, and financial performance.
- Design revenue attribution frameworks connecting revenue to customers, products, contracts, usage, and other business dimensions.
- Build and improve revenue forecasts using historical trends, leading indicators, statistical methods, and machine learning.
- Create scalable data models, pipelines, and automated systems for company-wide analytics and reporting.
- Establish rigorous validation, testing, and quality-assurance processes for financial data and analytical models.
- Partner with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to define business rules, metrics, targets, and analytical frameworks.
- Conduct analyses that inform strategy, financial planning, resource allocation, and growth initiatives.
- Own the correctness and reliability of analytical systems and continuously improve methodologies.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in analytics, data science, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
- Advanced SQL and data modeling proficiency across large, complex datasets.
- Strong foundation in mathematics, logic, statistics, and analytical problem-solving.
- Experience with Looker, Tableau, Sigma, or similar business intelligence and visualization tools.
- Strong analytical judgment and ability to translate ambiguous business questions into actionable recommendations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data quality, analytical rigor, and reproducibility.
- Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and own analytical problems end-to-end.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with technical and non-technical partners.
- Builder mindset focused on creating reusable frameworks, datasets, and tools.
- Experience using analytics to support business decisions, preferably in a high-growth, SaaS, or B2B product company.
