Responsibilities
- Own analytics for merchant retention, churn, software adoption, and the SaaS business.
- Identify drivers of merchant retention, churn, and software adoption.
- Build trusted metrics, dashboards, data models, and analyses for executives and cross-functional leaders.
- Partner with Product, Customer Success, Finance, Sales, and Engineering to turn insights into action.
- Create scalable reporting and AI-powered workflows that reduce manual work and improve decision-making.
- Measure the impact of retention initiatives and inform investment priorities.
- Investigate complex business questions using SQL and communicate recommendations to executives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role, ideally in the software industry.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with cloud data warehouses; Snowflake preferred.
- Experience conducting customer retention analyses.
- Experience building dashboards and reporting in Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to translate data into clear business recommendations.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Python, dbt, AI coding assistants, or workflow automation tools.
- Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP.
- Experience with SaaS metrics and subscription businesses.
- Familiarity with tools such as Claude Code or Codex.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base pay range: $150,000–$170,000 annually.
