Designs elegant, production-quality Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) for future vehicles, leading end-to-end lifecycle from concept to production. Collaborates with OEMs, PMs, and engineers; requires 6+ years in embedded devices with strong visual/interaction design skills.

Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design lifecycle (from concept to production)
- Directly interact with OEMs to identify the target use-cases and consumer pain points
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to create and validate design solutions for embedded software applications and companion devices
- Work quickly to ship new features in fast release cycles
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience working on embedded devices and consumer facing products
- Strong visual and interaction design skills
- Ability to work independently and thrive in fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience in designing in-vehicle experiences
- Portfolio of 3D work
- Experience creating user research studies and strategy
Compensation
Base salary range: $107,000 - $222,000 USD annually. Total compensation includes equity, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401k with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off.
