Responsibilities
- Design and build a new execution management system (EMS) platform for listed futures and options.
- Translate product and design requirements into clean, maintainable, well-tested components.
- Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, traders, designers, and backend engineers.
- Resolve performance, accessibility, and usability issues across the application.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared component libraries and engineering standards.
- Support the operational health of features and maintain a high service-level agreement.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience using Java.
- At least 4 years working with modern technologies and a proven record operating at Senior Engineer level.
- Hands-on experience building and supporting low-latency, front-office trading systems.
- Deep understanding of execution management systems, including core functionality and workflows.
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Commitment to engineering quality, reliability, and high development standards.
- Focus on developer experience, tooling, performance, and maintainability.
