Responsibilities
- Build foundational expense-platform solutions for expense submissions, approvals, and reimbursements.
- Contribute to the migration from Ruby to Go.
- Develop AI-powered product features.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and product partners to understand customer problems, navigate ambiguity, and balance technical quality with shipping value.
- Build and consume REST/HTTP APIs and work with relational data.
- Participate in documentation, collaboration, knowledge sharing, mentorship, and customer-oriented product development.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional hands-on experience.
- Experience with a modern server-side programming language and willingness to learn Go.
- Experience with REST APIs and HTTP APIs.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with relational data models.
- Product-minded approach and comfort working directly with product partners.
- Curiosity about AI tooling and willingness to experiment with AI-assisted development and AI-powered features.
- Strong judgment, resourcefulness, teamwork, communication, and ownership.

Compensation
