Group Product Marketing Manager

Own Vanta’s AI product marketing pillar, shaping its narrative, positioning, launches, and enablement in partnership with Product and Engineering. The role requires 7+ years of product marketing experience, strong technical and AI fluency, and exceptional storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own the AI pillar narrative and roadmap end to end.
  • Lead the AI narrative at key events, including keynote support, breakout sessions, and customer testimonials.
  • Ensure cohesive AI messaging across Compliance, Risk, and Proof contexts.
  • Partner with EPD to understand product development, influence roadmap sequencing, and translate technical capabilities into external-ready narratives.
  • Develop and maintain AI messaging and positioning for field, analysts, press, and customers.
  • Drive field enablement for AI, including sales and customer-success stories, objection handling, and proof points.
  • Plan and execute AI product launches from planning through post-launch measurement.
  • Represent the AI narrative in analyst briefings, customer advisory conversations, and press engagements.
  • Define and manage go-to-market strategy for security products, including launch planning, enablement content, and customer adoption.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product marketing experience, ideally owning a full pillar or product line.
  • Experience building narrative and positioning from scratch.
  • Experience partnering directly with Product and Engineering leadership.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience planning and executing large product launches, aligning product narrative with communications, measuring performance, and optimizing launch processes.
  • Strong written and verbal storytelling skills, including keynote and sales-deck writing.
  • Technical understanding of how modern AI products are built.
  • Familiarity with the AI and LLM landscape, including model capabilities, architecture patterns, and industry trends.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities and constraints into accurate, compelling narratives without over-claiming.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
  • Willingness to use AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience marketing an AI-native or AI-adjacent product.
  • Experience with security or technical products.
  • Experience owning a keynote-level narrative for a company event.
  • Technical and brand/narrative experience, such as a background in technical product management, solutions engineering, or technical writing.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $201,000-$237,000.
