Responsibilities
- Build AI-based workflows that combine and interpret data from multiple extraction channels to produce reliable answers.
- Analyze production data to find and fix accuracy gaps on real customer problems.
- Own features end-to-end, from product requirements, code, testing, observability, rollout, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with the founder, product managers, designers, and engineers to navigate trade-offs and build the product.
- Build critical features with urgency, attention to detail, and high-quality maintainable code.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building complex backend systems.
- Strong Python skills.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development, including agentic coding tools such as Claude Code.
- Passion for building and delivering exceptional products.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Experience shipping LLM-based features to production.
- Healthcare experience with eligibility and benefits, revenue cycle management, EDI/X12, clearinghouse, or EHR integrations.
