Responsibilities
Process Design & Transformation
- Lead end-to-end transformation projects across the Order-to-Cash function from requirements through implementation and handover to operations teams.
- Design future-state processes for new products, services, and acquired businesses.
- Document current-state operations across European regions, identifying inefficiencies and standardization opportunities.
- Create process documentation, including SOPs, system guides, and training materials.
- Assess standalone business operations and design integration paths to standardized processes.
Project Execution & Delivery
- Deliver OTC initiatives involving operations optimization, standardization, and automation across business units.
- Temporarily manage teams during transformations, assessing capabilities, optimizing structures, implementing processes, and transitioning responsibilities to operational leadership.
- Integrate custom or standalone processes into standardized operations.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Product, Sales, Legal, Customer Success, and regional finance teams.
- Manage timelines, dependencies, and risks, escalating blockers proactively.
- Pilot and test new processes before global rollout.
- Execute transformation cycles from build and implementation through handoff.
Systems & Automation
- Become proficient with the OTC technology stack, including NetSuite, billing platforms, Stuut, and Stripe.
- Identify automation opportunities and work with technical teams on configurations and integrations.
- Build functionality to address gaps when standardizing custom processes.
- Test system functionality and troubleshoot issues before rollout.
- Support M&A integration and post-acquisition operations standardization.
Stakeholder Management
- Advise Billing, Collections, and Cash Application operations managers on scalable initiative structures.
- Build relationships with regional finance teams across time zones.
- Communicate project progress and risks to senior management.
- Manage expectations during team transitions and handovers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, finance operations, or process improvement.
- Background in Order-to-Cash, billing, accounts receivable, collections, or revenue operations.
- Experience leading project-based transformations, including taking over teams or processes, improving them, and handing them off.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to run multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency with ERP systems; NetSuite is strongly preferred.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Exceptional documentation and communication skills.
- Experience managing senior leadership stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel regularly across European offices and potentially other regions.
- Flexibility to work with global teams across time zones.
