Client Growth Director
Own post-sale revenue growth across a portfolio of advertising clients, driving expansion, adoption, retention, and enterprise account development. The role requires 8+ years in advertising, media sales, account management, or client success, quota ownership, executive presence, and strong commercial judgment.
About the job
Responsibilities
- Own a revenue number and individual quota based on net dollar retention (NDR) across a portfolio of accounts.

- Build relationships with senior brand leadership and engage executives in top-to-top account strategies.
- Navigate procurement, legal, brand safety, measurement reviews, and multi-stakeholder approval processes within large organizations.
- Translate measurement approaches—including marketing mix modeling (MMM), lift studies, and platform attribution—into further client investment.
- Manage account health, identify growth and risk, and proactively address churn or account drift.
- Create and codify account-growth narratives, experiments, and playbooks as the enterprise segment scales.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in advertising or media sales, account management, or client success.
- Demonstrated personal ownership of revenue outcomes and quota attainment; portfolio or team results are not a substitute.
- Proven success sourcing and closing expansion opportunities, saving at-risk accounts, and winning additional budgets.
- Executive presence and experience engaging senior brand leadership as a peer.
- Strong autonomy, commercial judgment, prioritization, and comfort making decisions with incomplete information.
- Deep fluency in advertising platforms and performance data.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment without extensive operational support.
- Ability to work onsite in New York five days per week.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience growing Fortune 500 or comparable enterprise accounts.
- Experience with brand safety, compliance, procurement, and complex stakeholder approvals.

- Experience with two-sided networks or marketplaces.
- Experience in creator, influencer, or affiliate marketing.
- Meaningful use of AI in daily workflows.
- Self-critique and ability to articulate mistakes and lessons learned.
