The Senior Solutions Engineer partners with sales executives to support complex enterprise SaaS deals through solution selling, technical demonstrations, proof-of-concept work, and RFP/RFI responses. The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong cloud and software development knowledge, and excellent executive communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare, and execute strategic deals throughout sales cycles.
- Build processes from the ground up to streamline communication and increase efficiency.
- Manage technical aspects of RFP and RFI responses.
- Communicate client needs to R&D teams to inform future product enhancements.
- Shorten sales cycles while providing technical support for proof-of-concept engagements.
- Support sales executives with solution selling to prospect accounts.
- Match customer pain points and requirements to proposed solutions.
- Create and deliver presentations and demonstrations that communicate the value proposition.
- Collect and document competitive intelligence.
- Model the financial business case for each sales opportunity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Sales or Solutions Engineer, preferably in SaaS.
- Knowledge of cloud providers such as AWS and Google Cloud.
- Experience building proof of concepts.
- Proven track record selling or supporting complex enterprise solutions.
- Ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives.
- Ability to explain and present complex concepts clearly and creatively.
- Solid technical background with understanding of or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.

- On-Target Earnings (OTE) of £152,200–£188,000.
