Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day marketing operations across online communities, forums, social media, and other relevant channels.
- Publish posts, engage in relevant conversations, and write thoughtful comments across online communities and social platforms to increase visibility and engagement.
- Support AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) initiatives by helping create, structure, publish, and optimize content for AI-powered search and answer engines.
- Repurpose existing content across different channels and formats to maximize reach and engagement.
- Help execute marketing campaigns and other day-to-day marketing initiatives.
- Track content, community, and campaign performance and help identify opportunities to improve results.
- Maintain marketing documentation, workflows, and processes to help the team operate efficiently and scale.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in marketing operations, digital marketing, content, community management, or a related area.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to create clear, engaging content and comments across different channels.
- Comfort working across social media, online communities, forums, email, and content management platforms.
- Familiarity with SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), or an interest in how content is discovered through search and AI platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks, channels, and deadlines.
- A hands-on, proactive mindset and comfort executing, experimenting, and solving problems in a fast-moving environment.
- Comfort using AI tools to support content creation, research, and day-to-day marketing workflows.
- Strong organizational skills and willingness to improve processes and find more efficient ways of working.
Nice to Have
- Experience engaging with online communities, forums, or social platforms on behalf of a brand.
- Familiarity with SEO, AEO, content distribution, or other strategies for increasing organic visibility.
- Experience working in B2B SaaS, technology, or cloud marketplaces.
- A portfolio or examples of content, social media, community, or marketing projects.
- Experience using AI tools to streamline marketing workflows, research topics, create and repurpose content, and work more efficiently.
Compensation
- Hourly rate: $20–22 CAD per hour.
- Flexible schedule: 20–40 hours per week.
