Inventory Control Manager
The Inventory Control Manager oversees inventory accuracy, traceability, material flow, ERP/MRP systems, audits, and continuous improvement in a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 5–10+ years in manufacturing inventory or supply chain, and team leadership experience.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control policies, procedures, and systems aligned with aerospace standards such as AS9100.
- Manage raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished-goods inventory.
- Lead cycle counting, physical inventory, and reconciliation programs.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, quality, engineering, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure material availability, traceability, and accurate close activities.
- Ensure compliance with lot traceability, serialization, documentation, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Optimize warehouse layout, storage, and material-handling processes for efficiency and safety.
- Develop and analyze inventory metrics, including turns, accuracy, shortages, and excess or obsolete stock.
- Implement and manage ERP/MRP systems for real-time inventory visibility.
- Manage and mentor inventory control staff, establish performance expectations, and provide training.
- Support and lead internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Continuously improve inventory control processes across manufacturing, warehouse, and field locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5–10+ years of inventory, warehouse, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace or defense experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and MRP/ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Experience with aerospace quality standards, including AS9100 and ISO 9001, and traceability requirements.
- Leadership experience managing teams in a production or warehouse setting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Excel and reporting dashboards.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks such as COSO.
- APICS certification, including CPIM or CSCP, or similar certification.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with FAA, ITAR, or export compliance regulations.
- FAA Part 107 certification; obtaining it within the first 60 days is encouraged and may be required for certain positions.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary range: $131,00 - $168,000k.
