- Plan, shape, and build new product features from conception through research, implementation, and maintenance.
- Improve product performance and reliability and polish existing features.
- Build internal tools that support team simplicity and productivity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to accomplish shared goals.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Graduate by December 2026 and be able to start full-time by January or February 2027.
- Previous internship experience.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as TypeScript, Node.js, or Python.
- Ability to decompose complex problems and develop clean solutions independently or collaboratively.
- Experience building and maintaining quality user interfaces for a large audience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern UI framework such as React.
- Familiarity with backend systems and how user interfaces, data models, and other system components fit together.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with database systems such as Postgres, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, or Elasticsearch.
- Experience using AI-assisted development environments such as Codex or Claude Code.
- Interest in the interaction between technology and society.
Compensation and Benefits
- Notion provides competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits.
- For roles based in San Francisco or New York City, the estimated salary range is $135,000–$155,000.
