Software Engineer - Early Career

Responsibilities

• Ship well-tested production code used by millions across web applications, backend services, infrastructure, and smart contracts.
• Work alongside an assigned senior mentor and engineering pod through pairing, code review, and ownership of production work.
• Move across parts of the technology stack while developing the ability to build complete products.
• Work in person at the New York City headquarters five days per week.

Requirements

• Completed or completing a degree in Computer Science or a related field between December 2024 and September 2026.
• Evidence of building and shipping software through internships, side projects, open-source contributions, or hackathons.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and the ability to learn new languages and systems quickly.
• Genuine interest in cryptocurrency and decentralized finance; prior crypto experience is not required.
• Ability to work from the New York office five days per week.

Nice to Have

• Experience building crypto-related projects, such as smart contracts, bots, dashboards, or hackathon projects.
• Deep experience with the tools used to build a project; no specific language or framework is required.
• Competitive programming, capture-the-flag competitions, research, or open-source experience.

Compensation and Benefits

• Minimum full-time salary of $138,400–$198,000.
