Client Growth Manager

Own and grow a portfolio of advertising and media accounts through expansion, increased budgets, product adoption, and senior client relationships. The role requires 5+ years of quota-carrying client-facing experience, strong performance-data fluency, and the ability to work onsite in New York City.

Responsibilities

  • Own a book of 25–30 growth-stage accounts and an individual quota tied to net dollar retention.
  • Identify, source, and close expansion opportunities, increase client budgets, drive adoption of new products and platforms, and defend share against competing agencies and channels.
  • Build relationships with directors, vice presidents, and other senior marketing decision-makers across accounts.
  • Use marketing mix modeling, lift studies, and platform attribution to sequence commercial proposals and convert measurement insights into investment.
  • Monitor portfolio health, identify growth opportunities, catch account drift, and reactivate churned accounts.
  • Relay client feedback and market insights to the product team.
  • Operate autonomously in a fast-moving startup environment and make data-informed commercial recommendations.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of client-facing experience in advertising or media.
  • Demonstrated individual ownership of revenue outcomes, including quota or equivalent financial targets.
  • Proven success personally sourcing and closing expansion deals, saving at-risk accounts, and winning client budget.
  • Experience building strategic relationships with directors and vice presidents of marketing.
  • Strong understanding of advertising platforms and performance data.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, act quickly, and self-critique.
  • Comfortable working onsite in New York City five days per week.
