About the job

Responsibilities

  • Develop go-to-market strategies and plans to drive awareness, demand, and adoption of Postgres managed by ClickHouse.
  • Create messaging, positioning, and value propositions that resonate with customers and differentiate the offering.
  • Produce marketing collateral, including website content, blog posts, presentations, and internal enablement materials.
  • Collaborate with product, field, and marketing teams to gather market insights and understand customer needs.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities and inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Evaluate and iterate on strategy using metrics and stakeholder feedback; track efficacy and make data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in product marketing, product management, or a technical role.
  • Experience with Postgres or another OLTP database.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to use data and metrics for decision-making.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage multiple priority workstreams and deadlines.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Deep understanding of databases, particularly OLTP and OLAP.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience marketing database, data infrastructure, or developer-tools products.
  • Familiarity with the Postgres ecosystem.
  • Experience at a startup or other fast-moving environment.
  • Fluency in SQL.
