Responsibilities

  • Design and code product features, combining strong visual design with technical implementation.
  • Work on challenging product design problems and improve the in-house design system.
  • Consult with Product Engineers on bespoke design work.
  • Conduct customer conversations, wireframe flows, implement design systems, and turn wireframes into polished user interfaces.
  • Build flexible, composable components for setup wizards and other product experiences.
  • Improve information hierarchy and scannability in product designs.
  • Ship iteratively, gather feedback from users, and use feedback and business needs to prioritize improvements.
  • Participate in customer issue resolution and investigations.

Requirements

  • Professional experience practicing Design Engineering or a comparable combination of design and engineering.
  • Major contributions to a design system.
  • Experience designing and implementing features used by hundreds of users and iterating based on user feedback.
  • Excellent visual design taste and execution.
  • Strong proficiency in both design and engineering, with exceptional proficiency in the discipline practiced full-time.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal process and structure.
  • Collaborative communication and ownership of product and design decisions.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $256,000–$380,000.
