Responsibilities
- Lead the technical vision for the restaurant partner experience, including onboarding, menu management, order fulfillment, and marketing tools.
- Champion AI-native frontend development practices, including design-to-code workflows and machine-readable frontend interfaces.
- Define and evangelize frontend architecture standards covering micro-frontends, monorepos, design systems, and CI/CD.
- Establish frontend architecture for in-product business intelligence and reporting in the partner portal.
- Evaluate embedded analytics and data visualization tools and define patterns for performant, accessible, data-dense interfaces.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Research, Principal Engineers, and Staff Engineers on product direction and technology roadmaps.
- Mentor engineers and foster learning and collaboration.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional development experience.
- Deep expertise in React, Next.js App Router, and TypeScript across production frontend systems.
- 4+ years of production React experience.
- Knowledge of micro-frontend architecture patterns, such as Islands architecture, module federation, or edge-side composition.
- Experience standardizing frontend architecture, design systems, monorepo tooling, and micro-frontend boundaries at scale.
- Experience building dashboards, reporting interfaces, and data visualizations for non-technical users.
- Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating with business stakeholders.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with B2B or partner-facing SaaS products.
- Experience with REST, GraphQL, and Turborepo.
- Familiarity with Go or equivalent backend frameworks.
- Experience developing component libraries and documentation for AI-assisted code generation.
- Familiarity with embedded analytics or data visualization platforms.
- Exposure to Datadog or Sentry.
Compensation and Benefits
- National total target cash compensation of $184,000–$232,000 annually, including base salary and bonus target.

- Remote-hybrid work from the Boston office, home, or a mixture of both.
