Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support easy-to-use React/TypeScript applications.
- Set standards for accessibility and design system use.
- Make technology decisions that support business needs without compromising security, privacy, or quality.
- Enhance existing systems with new functionality and improve performance, stability, quality, and security.
- Advocate for high standards, improve developer quality of life, and limit technical debt.
- Maintain a user-centric mindset and develop deep user empathy.
- Communicate effectively across cross-functional product delivery teams, including design, product, machine learning, and infrastructure.
- Mentor and learn from other engineers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building, shipping, and supporting web applications.
- 5+ years of experience with React.
- Experience independently delivering a small web application or an entire feature in a larger web application.
- Familiarity with React, TypeScript, and potentially Electron.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Willingness to work across domains and languages and learn new technologies.
- Deep expertise using AI tools to accelerate engineering workflows.

- Experience with audio playback, audio recording, file encryption, or online/offline mode support on the web.
